Zakar Jerejyan was born on July 27,in 1962, in Yerevan, the capital of the Republic of Armenia. From 1969 up to 1979 he attends French biased School N 48  named in honor to a famous Armenian hero in France- Misaq Manushyan. He leaves the school with a certificate of excellence.In 1979 Mr. Jerejyan enters the Agricultural Institute of RA, the faculty of Wine Making Technologies. Gaining much experience and knowledge during five-year enjoyable and hard study, he graduates from the Institute in 1984 with the strong convenience to go on with his beloved profession. From 1985 up to 1986 Zakar Jerejyan works at the “Mxchyan” wine factory first as an engineer- technologist, later- as the chief of the alcohol industry. 1986-2002 Zakar works in the Central Laboratory of “Ararat” (Wine Unity), Ministry of Food of RA. He possesses the position of brandy First class specialist-technologist. Later due to his skills and experience, Mr. Jerejyan becomes the chief of the Industry. Simultaneously, he prepares for his dissertation thesis paper in “Magarach” USSR wine Institute on the subject “Methods for Acceleration of Brandy Alcohol Aging”.

Besides being a brandy First class specialist, he has also been fond of sport- especially of “Foudokan” traditional karate. In this sphere Zakar Jerejyan has possessed black belt of karate (I DAN). Developing this qualification he has also worked as a karate coach. From 1994 to 1995 he has been the head of a Guard Service.

In 1997 Zakar Jerejyan returns to his profession and with his friend and a partner he sets his own alcohol production called “Adastra” Ltd. Mr. Jerejyan moves to the Brandy Factory of Yerevan in 2002 (Aygevan branch) holding the position of a chief specialist in wine and brandy production.

2006- 2007 Zakar Jerejyan leaves for France, Cognac city, to get qualification in new technologies in the domain of brandy. After six month lasting qualification courses he suggests a fundamentally new technology of distillation with the historical apparatus of “Sharanta”. His innovation is accepted and confirmed by the national Inter-professional Bureau of Cognac in France. Due to this technology innovation Mr. Jerejyan has become a member of BNIC (Inter-professional National Bureau of Cognac) since 2007. He also gets awarded with a certificate of a Premium Qualification Specialist of cognac making production in France. 2003-2016 Zakar Jerejyan works in “Yerevan Champagne and Wine Factory” Ltd as a Chief specialist and Head of the Department of brandy production.

Besides being a senior specialist in his professional sphere, Zakar Jerejyan is also an erudite, clever and very responsible person. He got married in 1984 and has two children.He is a devoted man both to his family and friends and an attentive and loving Father for his children. Mr.Jerejyan has gained great trust and respect of people around him. He is also vary fond of music and plays a guitar very well. The most beloved ones are Steve Wonder and the legendary group “The Beatles”. His most favorite writers are Gabriel Garcia Markes and Michael Bulgakov from Russian literature. The favorite works are “One Hundred Years of Solitude” by Markes and “The Master and Margarita” by Bulgakov. Zakar Jerejyan fluently speaks Armenian, Russian and French. He combines the honorable role of a good person, a brilliant specialist, a devoted Father of the family and the role of a real leader in the social life.
